discounts.ie is a public directory. You do not need an account to use it.

Browsing and search

We do not add advertising trackers or visitor analytics scripts, set site cookies, or store a browsing profile in your browser. Retailer search runs in your browser against the directory’s search index.

If you submit a search through the search button, the search term can appear in the directory URL. Like other requested URLs, it may be included in hosting request logs.

Hosting

The site is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The hosting provider processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information, to deliver and protect the service. We do not claim that ordinary web requests are anonymous.

Search performance

We plan to use Google Search Console to understand how the site appears in Google Search. We do not embed Google Analytics or a Google Search Console tracking script on the website.

Retailer links

When you follow a retailer or source link, you leave discounts.ie. The destination site’s own privacy and cookie practices apply. We do not operate a redirect-based click-tracking service.

Email correspondence

Our email reporting channel is not yet active, and this site does not currently provide a submission form. We will update this information when the reporting channel opens.

Changes

We will update this page before introducing features that change how the website handles information, including visitor analytics or affiliate tracking.
